Art Festival

Today we went to the art festival. There were so many cool things! We saw a really awesome giant robot. There were at least 3 statues of the robot. On one he was walking with birds on his shoulders. Then on another he was sitting on a bench playing a guitar with birds surrounding him. Then on the last one he was almost completely buried withe the birds surrounding him again. Behind the buried robot was a big mural on a brick wall. The mural was a big old fashioned television and on the screen was a robot fighting a T-Rex! There were lots of really pretty pieces of art that were for sale. Some of the pieces were optical allusions and others were just abstract. There was on person who used tea cups and tea pots to make wind chimes. The person also bent forks and knives to male picture frames and necklaces. Another person made instruments out of drift wood and animal sculls. There was a lot of jewelry made from stones and diamonds and beads. I loved the oil landscape pictures that we saw. There were mountain ranges and hills. One man painted a grassy area with one big tree in the corner. There were a few different bands playing around the festival. One man was playing the saxophone on the corner of the street. There were lots of people and lots of sound. All of the music was really good. Dyson and Dalton got a dinosaur from a lady who made animals and planes/trains out of soda cans. They said the sprite dinosaur was a master piece. In fact they said all of her work were master pieces. My favorite piece of hers was a humming bird. She must have very careful hands to make such delicate pieces. I love going and looking at all of the art. While we were walking and we passed the man playing the saxophone I looked between the crowd of people and saw the shops and the saxophone player In my mind I saw a work of art. As soon as we got home I spent two hours working on my picture before I forgot my image. I finally finished and showed everyone, they loved it! Someday when I have made more paintings and sketches, I want to have my own stand there to sell my pictures.
